The concept ? You wait 45 minutes for frozen food (even vegetables) to be served to you so that you can cook them yourself.
All this in a very cozy atmosphere to justify the exorbitant prices which really only finance the servers' kimonos.
We tried the marinated beef barbecue and the salmon bibimbap, we enjoyed ourselves and had a pleasant time. The service is attentive, the waiters attentive, we will come back very soon. However, you must book well in advance because the restaurant is not very large. This remains one of the best Korean that we have tested.

17.50€ for rice, a little ground meat and some condiments I found it excessively expensive and not up to what was presented as "better bibimbap than in Seoul" by the press. I found it just ok. The egg was missing from our dish and we waited 45 minutes to be served because in the kitchen they had forgotten our order.
The food lacked Korean authenticity and was more of a quality comparable to what you would find in a food court than that of a large restaurant. The accompaniments were actually not well proportioned to the dishes. Service a little slow but very nice servers.
Quite disappointed this time. I find that this restaurant is worthy of both the best and the worst, it is unfortunately very uneven and last night I clearly did not get my money's worth even though last time was sumptuous. The kitchen staff weren't the same as usual? In the end I paid the usual high price for very ordinary food and, what's more, just hot, whereas bibimbap is eaten very hot. Not sure I'll come back because out of my 6 times at Daehane, 2 were real disappointments.
I went there yesterday with friends for my birthday. It’s a treat, the best restaurant in Lille that I’ve tried! The servers are great, the atmosphere is warm, the dishes are delicious. We were unanimous. Thanks again.
